Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, Inc. - Motor City Alumni Chapter (MCAC)
We are the Alumni Chapter for all Alpha Kappa Psi alumni who are living in, who are from, or have connections to Detroit and Southeastern Michigan. Our current membership resides in Michigan, 10 other states and in Canada.
MCAC actively participates in local, regional, and national events of the Fraternity. The Chapter has raised funds for student chapter members to participate in one of several professional development experiences: 1) The Academy, which is an all-expenses paid Fellowship to a custom-designed, hands-on, leadership experience for student chapter members; and 2) funding a trip to the Professional Business Leadership Institute (PBLI), a 3-day learning and leading experience in Chicago where students can build their network, improve their resume, practice the art of job interviewing, and apply the 16 key skills of Alpha Kappa Psi. MCAC also actively assists the Fraternity in all possible ways, especially with founding, reactivating, and supporting of student chapters of AKPsi.
Motor City Alumni Chapter (MCAC) strives to provide the following services to its membership:
• Regular communication via e-mail and this website
• Planned social events, community service, and activities with wide appeal
• Professional and personal development opportunities
• Continuation and expansion of Brotherhood
• Advertisement of business or services via this website
